How do we select offset Projects?

We work with SimpliZero to calculate the carbon emissions from each stage of our supply chain. This enables us to measure our carbon footprint for each product and find the best suited carbon offset projects.

 

Each project supports multiple UN sustainable development goals in addition to offsetting CO2.

All our projects are rigorously verified and certified through The Gold Standard and Verified Carbon Standard (VCS). These independent verifiers make sure that the projects are working to deliver the benefits they promise.

PROTECTING OUR FORESTS

• Avoided Deforestation Peru, Peru
  A conservation and sustainable harvesting project in the Madre de Dios region in southeast Peru. Works to improve carbon sequestration in the region.

INVESTING IN RENEWABLE ENERGY

• Telangana Solar Power, India
  This is a 6 Megawatt solar power project in Kolanupaka, Telangana. The project has demonstrated the viability of grid connected solar farms to support improved air quality, energy security, improved local livelihoods and sustainable renewable energy industry development in the southern region of India.

HELPING OUR COMMUNITIES

• Heqing Solar Cooker, China
  This project provides local residents in the rural area of Zhangye, Gansu province in Northwestern China the opportunity to switch to solar cookers to use for their daily cooking tasks in place of coal powered cookstoves.
